1.  Be the best student you can be!  There are way more opportunities for scholarships and grants that are based on your GPA and ACT scores than there are for athletics

2.  Take the ACT early and take it often.  Your highest score is always used

3.  Register with the NCAA eligibility center (see link above)

4.  Look for the colleges that interest you in your area of study

5.  Make contact with college coaches - email, phone call;  introduce yourself!
